a stock of bags

I have been trying since November to have a stock of bags sewn. And, it has finally happened! It took me almost three days to do so, but I have a stock of new tote bags in Sage, Navy and gray corduroy. They will be photographed this weekend and available in the shops on etsy and Supermarket by Monday. I'm most excited about the sage. It's a light sage green canvas and lined in a heavyweight cordura in a foliage green color. This is seriously heavyweight. It's 1000D cordura...that what they use in bullet proof vests! I'm not saying the tote could take a bullet. But, it could take anything else you might think of putting it through. And I think it's one of the best looking bags I've made. It's simple (meaning it's simply complicated to every Moop bag). But, I think you'll love it, too. Here's a sneak peek:

p.s. things have been intentionally sparse in all the shops for the last week or so. i'm desperately trying to switch from made upon order to ready to ship. it won't happen with all of the bags (the Fraulein Totes will still be made upon order..they're the most complicated and time consuming to make). but, the market bags (with a fixed strap) will be ready to go along with the totes and soon the hip and small pouches will be made and ready to ship. it's big progress and we're thrilled.

  1. I really like the new bag style. I completely understand about the simple looking/complicated to make issue too:)
And I have also been trying to figure out how to switch over to "ready to ship". Finding the time to stockpile when you are filling orders...
    Congrats on making it happen!
