the anapad

Have you seen this dear sweet creation by Twig?  My daughter has loved dry erase boards from the moment she could grip those chubby markers between her grubby little paws.  When she was 4 years old she received a dry erase board on an easel as a Christmas present and it is still, 9 years later, used every single day.  She loves that thing!  I know she would have loved this, too when she was smaller.  At her current not so small adolescent age though, she would not be fooled and she would say, why can't I have a real iPhone? To which I say, you don't need a real iPhone.  Followed by something that makes me sound like an old parent, like: kids your age don't need iPhones. Or Facebook pages. To which she will harrumph and walk away.

Also, the sweet team behind Twig posted a lovely article about Moop on their newly launched blog.  Thanks, guys!

  1. I actually saw you favorite this this morning which had me emailing it out to our whole family. I love this idea rather than handing over the real ipad to a toddler. This inspires creativity while making a toddler feel like mommy and daddy. I love it!
