Things are good.

I have been working my way through our upheavals and transitions over the last several weeks...unpacking boxes and sewing bags like crazy with little time for anything beyond the realm of studio work, business development and family time. But, I'm feeling like I'm re-entering a stage of inspiration. It's funny how it comes in waves. I imagine that's true for every creative soul. You must have your ups and downs, your ruts and your peaks. You need to find yourself so busy that you can't possibly manage one.more.thing.  To me, that feels like balance.  That feels like the crazy, fantastic, overwhelming, constant state of flux that leads to the very best things. Right now, it feels like I'm heading into a good good space. I'm feeling inspired by lovely things like this charming photo by Chris Craymer.

  2. I think that's a great way to look at creativity. I'm going through a good time right now--about to finish a book, I hope--but it can be draining, too.

By the way, I'm so enjoying my new Market Bag as a diaper bag--it's perfect! I hope to order a Carrier someday when you have them back in stock. :)
